The JP Project

About us

One person and one family at a time

Strengthen communities, support families, advocate for inclusion, and make a positive difference.
Johnathan Palma, founder of The JP Project

Our mission

The JP Project is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and their families. We advocate for disability rights, IEP and 504 support, and work to ensure every voice is heard. Through educational conferences across Nevada, we help parents, caregivers, and self-advocates learn how to confidently advocate for themselves and their children.

We also believe in giving back to our communities through Christmas drives, back-to-school drives, community events, and partnerships with other nonprofits to bring events, resources, and opportunities to the families and communities we serve.

Meet Johnathan

Johnathan Palma, known online as "Rockin Blind Guy," founded The JP Project. Living with a visual impairment has brought many challenges, and it has also shown him the incredible kindness and generosity of others. His message is simple: by having a disability, you can do anything you put your mind to.
